Position Overview: The Senior DevOps Engineer builds, deploys, maintains, and automates software development CI/CD pipelines. This role works closely with Software Engineering, Quality Engineering, and Product Strategy. Solutions must be built to company standards and deployable on-prem or in the cloud.
Responsibilities:
- Work with stakeholders to capture and analyze DevOps requirements.
- Design, develop, deploy, and improve DevOps infrastructure.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using industry standard tools.
- Provide timely support, respond to monitoring alerts, and troubleshoot issues.
- Implement and stay current with cloud and DevOps best practices.
- Work with engineering on Azure resource identification and automation.
- Document work thoroughly to adhere to company procedures and requirements.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent and/or appropriate experience.
Experience: 8+ years in virtualization, containerization, build, and deployment. Extensive experience with SCM, CI/CD, instrumentation, and observability tools. Proficiency with Git, GitHub, Azure DevOps, IaC technologies (Terraform, Pulumi, or Bicep), programming (C#, PowerShell, Python, Bash). Working knowledge of OS and network infrastructure. Experience with Azure native services a plus. Knowledge of DevSecOps concepts/tools a plus.
