Full-Time Senior DevOps Engineer

Senior DevOps Engineer will build, automate, and optimize cloud infrastructure for scalability, security, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities Include:

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure in public cloud environments (AWS, Azure).
• Implement and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for reliable and efficient deployment of microservices and containerized applications (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker).
• Develop and manage infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform.
• Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (e.g., Dynatrace, CloudWatch, Splunk, Grafana, ELK Stack) for proactive performance optimization, incident detection, and root cause analysis.
• Implement security best practices (e.g., encryption, identity and access management, network security, vulnerability scanning) to protect cloud infrastructure and application workloads.
• Create automation scripts for cloud operations and orchestration using Python or similar scripting languages.
• Own and manage incident response, ensuring quick recovery times and data integrity.
• Work closely with infrastructure teams to automate and optimize infrastructure provisioning and scaling using IaC tools like Terraform.
• Drive the evaluation and adoption of new tools and technologies to maintain observability and monitoring practices.
• Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive environment that encourages innovation and growth.
• Partner with business and development teams to identify requirements, define solutions, and implement them.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of DevOps engineering experience.
• Extensive hands-on experience with at least one public cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP) and a solid understanding of their services.
• Proficient in IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Expertise in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like Flux, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• Proficient in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar languages.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Splunk, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, CloudWatch).
• Strong communication skills for interaction with team members, vendors, and leadership.
• Proactive, go-getter attitude with a passion for new technology adoption.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong proficiency in both German and English.
