Job Description

As a DevOps Engineer, you'll be working with the engineering team to monitor and improve our security, infrastructure, and performance.

Responsibilities:

• Planning and performing infrastructure improvements and upgrades
• Triaging, replicating, and fixing potential security issues
• Performing and automating account support chores
• Maintaining high CI build success rates and low CI build run times
• Participating in the on-call rotation

Technology Stack:

• Ruby on Rails monolith
• Vue.js with TypeScript (front-end)
• Rust for select services and gems
• RSpec & Capybara for testing
• CircleCI & GitHub Actions for CI/CD
• MySQL and PostgreSQL for databases
• ScyllaDB for activity feeds
• Redis for session storage, queue management, and caching
• ElasticSearch for full-text search
• Kubernetes and Helm for container orchestration
• DataDog and Sentry for service and performance monitoring
• Terraform for infrastructure management

Required Experience:

• Proven experience maintaining large production-level Ruby on Rails applications
• Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Redis
• Rails application development
• Experience maintaining infrastructure with Docker, Kubernetes, and Google Cloud

Additional Requirements:

• Strong written communication skills
• 3 hours overlap between 10 AM and 6 PM CET
