Full-Time Senior DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team and manage our AWS infrastructure and telemedicine web application. You will work closely with the development team to ensure smooth deployments and operations.

Responsibilities:

• Work with the development team for smooth application deployment and operation.
• Manage AWS resources using Terraform.
• Manage projects across multiple teams.
• Monitor and troubleshoot application and infrastructure issues using Datadog.
• Automate deployment and infrastructure tasks.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Improve application performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with Product and development teams on release management.
• Implement and maintain security best practices.
• Work with the Director of DevOps on project prioritization.
• Establish goals (SLO, SLA) for key operational metrics with dashboards and reporting.
• Mentor and coach junior DevOps engineers.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of DevOps experience.
• Strong AWS, Terraform, and CI/CD pipeline knowledge.
• Kubernetes and container service experience (Docker, ECS, Fargate).
• Strong Linux knowledge.
• Coding skills with Terraform, Python, and JavaScript.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience securing complex environments.

Nice to haves:

• Django and React experience.
• Experience with other cloud platforms (Google Cloud / Azure).
• AWS certifications.
• Healthcare or telehealth experience.
• Office365 / Azure AD experience.

First 30 days:

• Set up local environment.
• Familiarize with AWS environment and best practices.
• Review Infrastructure as Code (IAC) code base.
• Review and update documentation as needed.

First 90 days:

• Learn all processes.
• Assist with application deployments.
• Write code and create documentation.
• Work with DevOps Manager on future projects.
