Full-Time Senior Devops Engineer

Position Requirements: We seek full-time, direct-hire candidates based in the UK (GMT), or long-term international contractors located in Austria, Spain, Poland, Ireland, Italy, or the Netherlands for this Senior DevOps Engineer role.

Summary: We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead the transition to Kubernetes (K8s) and containerization while maintaining legacy VM-based infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, implementation, and scaling of Kubernetes clusters.
• Manage and maintain Linux VMs and server environments.
• Automate infrastructure management using Terraform, Ansible, and Helm.
• Troubleshoot and optimize both VMs and Kubernetes environments.
• Collaborate with software engineers for a smooth transition.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines for both VM and Kubernetes applications.
• Monitor virtual infrastructure and participate in on-call rotation.
• Document infrastructure, architecture decisions, and processes.

Required Skills:

• 7+ years of DevOps, SRE, or Systems Engineering experience.
• IaC expertise with Terraform and Ansible.
• Strong Kubernetes and Docker experience.
• Linux systems administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes concepts (Pods, Services, etc.).
• CI/CD pipeline creation and maintenance.
• Helm experience for managing Kubernetes applications.
• Cloud computing proficiency with AWS and/or GCP.
• Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
