Senior DevOps Engineer

Key Skills & Responsibilities:

• Strong skills in Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS.
• CI/CD with Jenkins, automation with bash/python scripting, and Git
• Experience with Nginx, MySQL/PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Redis.
• Setting up and supporting cloud infrastructure.
• Day-to-day operations, problem-solving, and security maintenance.
• Collaborating in Agile teams for application and infrastructure development.
• Understanding software delivery lifecycle roadmaps.
• Defining User Stories for strategic roadmap implementation.
• Implementing new software delivery pipeline steps.
• Building communication with various teams (Product Owners, QA, etc.) to transform requirements into automated features.
• 24/7 availability for deployments and maintenance (may be required).
• Linux certifications (RHCSA, RHCE) and AWS certifications (SAA/SOA or equivalent).
• Serverless experience (Fargate, Lambda, CloudFormation, etc.).
• Designing and deploying scalable, highly available, and cost-effective systems.
• Experience with EKS, Fargate, EC2, RDS, IAM, S3, ELB, VPC, EBS, Route 53, Auto-Scaling, CloudWatch.
• Containerized platform proficiency (Docker & Kubernetes).
• Load Balancer experience (Nginx, HAProxy)
• MySQL/PostgreSQL skills (replication, performance tuning).
• Linux (RHEL, CentOS) expertise.
• Scripting language knowledge (Bash, Python, PHP).
• Infrastructure as code experience (Ansible, Terraform).
• Troubleshooting high availability applications on PHP/Python/Node.js
• GIT, Jenkins, Elasticsearch, Grafana, Kibana familiarity is a plus.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Owning a feature/application from conception to release.
• Understanding virtualization and containerization for scalability/reliability.
• Ability to learn and teach new technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years of industry experience (project management or systems analysis experience preferred).
