Full-Time Senior DevOps Engineer

Job Description

This position will primarily be responsible for leading the automation of infrastructure and maintaining it. Also, to create and manage Azure resources (Virtual Networks, Virtual Machines, Firewall Rules, etc.).

• Defining and growing the company approach to DevOps across the technical teams within the organization.
• Working with the different technical teams to identify areas of opportunity for automation. (i.e IT, QA, Mobile/native apps, backend, frontend)
• Researching, documenting, and providing training about new practices in automation, cloud infrastructure, and monitoring systems.
• Being an active role by participating in architecting and setting up both cloud infrastructure and automation for different clients and needs (hands-on position)

Qualifications

• English advanced (B2 conversational). Applications and CVs on spanish will be rejected immediately.
• Significant professional experience with release management.
• Ability to discuss and describe robust cloud deployments across a modernized stack of services and tools such as Azure.
• Strong previous history solving problems with a configuration management such as Terraform/Terragunt, Chef, or Ansible.
• Experience creating robust solutions and application deployments in Kubernetes.
• Robust experience with one or more development language such as JavaScript, Ruby, or Python.
• Robust experience with Helm.
• Entirely comfortable orchestrating complex infrastructure as code (e.g.: YAML).
• Strong experience with CI/CD repeatibility and templating.
• Comfortable solving complex problems with Linux-based VMs.
• Capable of solving complex issues with Apache or a similar web server.
• Familiarity with pipelines as code in a tool such as Gitlab, Bitbucket, or Jenkins.
• Steady experience working with containers for web-based applications running on stacks similar to traditional LAMP.
• Awareness and ability to dive in and work with challenging configuration or troubleshooting issues with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
