About The Role: As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will provide deep technical support to development teams, ensuring they have the tools and infrastructure to succeed. You will drive excellence in development processes, lead infrastructure initiatives, and support teams to deliver scalable solutions. This is a senior position requiring technical acumen and mentorship skills.
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on technical support to developers.
- Architect and maintain scalable infrastructure.
- Build and deploy development tools, automate CI/CD pipelines.
- Automate release and development processes.
- Collaborate with DevOps, IT, and InfoSec teams.
- Drive a culture of excellence for consistent high-quality delivery.
- Provide strategic direction to engineering leadership.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Senior DevOps engineer.
- Extensive experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Expertise in Git, GitHub workflows, Bazel, CircleCI, CI/CD automation.
- Expertise in Linux systems, containerization (Kubernetes, Docker), and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Located in the western half of the USA, or willing to work Pacific Time.
- Experience in supporting traditional and machine learning environments.
- Proven ability to manage regulated data.
- In-depth understanding of cloud and network topologies.
- Experience with observability and incident management tools.
- Experience with deploying CI/CD pipelines across multiple cloud platforms.
