About the Role As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you'll provide deep, hands-on technical support to development teams. Ensure they have the tools, infrastructure, and guidance to succeed. Drive excellence in development processes, lead infrastructure initiatives, and support teams to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions. This senior position demands technical acumen and hands-on mentorship.
Core Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on technical support to developers.
- Architect and maintain scalable infrastructure.
- Build and implement new development tools.
- Automate and streamline release processes for efficiency.
- Collaborate with DevOps, IT, and InfoSec teams.
- Drive a culture of excellence in delivery and scalability.
- Provide strategic direction to engineering.
Minimum Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Senior DevOps Engineer.
- Extensive experience with AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Expertise in Git, GitHub workflows, CI/CD, and release pipelines.
- Expertise with configuration management tools (Ansible, Saltstack, Chef, Puppet).
- Expertise in Linux systems, containerization (Kubernetes, Docker), and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python preferred).
- Strong problem-solving and collaborative skills.
- Experience orchestrating a fleet of physical devices (IoT).
Preferred Qualifications
- Location on the West Coast or Mountain Time zone.
- Experience in supporting traditional software development and machine learning environments.
- MedTech industry experience.
- Ability to manage regulated data.
- Experience with traceability for regulatory compliance.
- In-depth understanding of cloud and network topologies.
- Experience with observability and incident management tools.
Salary Range $154,000 - $256,000 per year (US).
