Reporting to: CTO, Yury Semerikov
Location and Language: Remote position accepting applicants in GMT + 3 time zones with preference for candidates in: the European Union (excluding Germany), Serbia, and Poland. Candidates must provide proof of identity and work authorization. Telgorithm is based in the United States and English is the primary language used at work. Proficiency with Russian is required due to a Russian-speaking development team.
The Role: We're looking for a hands-on DevOps Engineer with strong experience supporting .NET applications to take ownership of Telgorithm's cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, observability stack, and internal tooling. You'll play a critical role in ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability of our telecom platform.
Responsibilities:
- Managing Kubernetes clusters
- Building custom Grafana dashboards
- Developing meaningful SQL-based metrics
- Maintaining alerting systems
- Designing reliable backup strategy
- Managing integrations to maintain platform security
- Maintaining build and versioning pipelines for .NET and Node.js apps
Skills Required:
- Strong experience with public cloud providers (AWS preferred)
- Deep knowledge of Kubernetes (EKS/GKE/k3s)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
- Proficiency with CI/CD systems (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD)
- Familiarity with Helm and Helm chart customization
- Strong scripting skills (Bash)
- Understanding of .NET and Node.js build tooling
- Experience troubleshooting .NET app issues (memory leaks, performance, GC)
- Strong networking knowledge (DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP)
- Familiarity with logging and monitoring stacks (EFK, ELK)
Bonus skills: Experience with custom metric orchestration, HAProxy rate-limiting, or Slack bot scripting.
