Role: Senior DevOps Engineer
Product: Business Messaging Platform
Overview: Looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to own infrastructure for textmagic.com. This role focuses on platform performance, stability, and scalability. Will manage cloud infrastructure (OVH), improve CI/CD pipelines, and work with developers.
Key Responsibilities:
- CI/CD automation: Design, build, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines.
- Cloud infrastructure: Manage and scale OVH cloud infrastructure.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Use Terraform or similar to manage infrastructure.
- Monitoring and alerting: Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
- System security: Implement infrastructure security and manage security from DDoS attacks.
- Collaboration: Work with engineering teams to resolve issues and support the full development lifecycle.
- Tooling and automation: Develop internal tools and scripts to improve developer efficiency.
- Database operations: Manage and optimize databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Environment management: Maintain and support multiple environments.
Qualifications:
- Strong Linux system administration experience.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes.
- Understanding of virtualization vs. containerization.
- Networking knowledge (L2, L4, L7).
- Experience with full application lifecycle.
- CI/CD experience.
- Database experience (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience.
- Monitoring (Zabbix, Prometheus) and log processing (Loki) experience.
- Config management tools experience (Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or Salt).
- Version control (Git, Gitlab) and issue-tracking (Jira) experience.
Nice to Have:
- Telecom systems or messaging services experience.
- PostgreSQL clustering experience.
- Programming or scripting skills (Bash, Go).
- Kubernetes production experience at scale.
- DDoS protection experience.
- Backend and frontend technologies experience (PHP, Node.js, Webpack).
