Full-Time Senior DevOps Engineer II

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer II to join ActBlue and play a pivotal role in our Developer Platform Team (focused on Developer Experience). In this position, you'll work at the intersection of all Engineering teams to design, implement, and enhance the systems that power our software development lifecycle.

• Empower engineers to ship faster and more confidently by modernizing our build, test, and deploy systems for improved reliability and reduced friction
• Accelerate production issue resolution by designing scalable monitoring and observability systems that put critical information at developers' fingertips
• Drive continuous platform evolution by establishing feedback channels with engineering teams that turn insights into measurable improvements in tool adoption and effectiveness
• Mentor the teams junior engineers, contributing to their technical growth and development
• Document systems and processes to ensure knowledge sharing and operational continuity

• 5-7 years of professional DevOps or Platform Engineering experience
• Strong expertise with Kubernetes (particularly EKS), container orchestration, and cloud infrastructure management in AWS
• Deep experience with monitoring and observability tools and practices, particularly Datadog
• Proven track record leading implementation of CI/CD pipelines that improve developer productivity and software quality
• Experience mentoring other engineers and communicating complex technical concepts effectively
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code practices using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar
• Passion for continual learning and sharing knowledge with the team
