Full-Time Senior DevOps/SRE Engineer

Modulos Responsible AI platform helps enterprises build and deploy AI at scale in the era of regulated AI. Modulos is the first GRC platform for AI, offering tools and guidance for companies developing and operating AI systems. New AI regulations such as the EU AI Act pose a new challenge for businesses. Modulos supports them with its unique solution on their journey towards compliance. Modulos is a spinoff from ETH Zurich and works with customers around the world.

Tasks

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Azure-based infrastructure.
• Prepare architecture proposals, including time estimates and tool assessments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and implement business requirements.
• Own projects from inception to deployment, ensuring timelines and objectives are met.
• Proactively enhance team productivity, system reliability, and security.
• Implement and manage incident response processes, ensuring rapid resolution and root cause analysis.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, including security and data protection policies.

Requirements

• The right mindset to work in a startup environment.
• Communicative, friendly team player, self-driven, positive personality.
• At least five years of experience in cloud infrastructure, with at least 3 years focused on Azure Cloud.
• Expert in Terraform, Infrastructure as Code, Kubernetes, container orchestration, Azure services (AKS, PostgreSQL, Storage, AD B2C), CI/CD pipelines, GitOps practices, Networking/VPN concepts, Security best practices.
• Experienced in Helm chart development, Monitoring and observability tools, Security best practices in cloud environments, ArgoCD, GitOps workflows, Azure Communication Services, Cost optimization, Multi-environment deployment strategies.
• Azure certifications (Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert)
• Fluent in English.
