Full-Time Senior DevSecOps Engineer – RPA Technical Lead

A Senior DevSecOps Engineer – RPA Technical Lead thrives in a fast-paced environment. This role leads a team of innovators for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Platform Project.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading technical teams assessing requests, organizing tasks, and ensuring successful project completion.
• Coordinating with government leads and providing project updates.
• Innovating on new technologies and approaches for RPA work.
• Providing technical support for RPA platform management and developers.
• Conducting security reviews of all patches and releases.
• Supporting the Data Warehouse for platform metrics and development teams' custom metrics (transaction time, run time, ROI, hours run, uptime, exceptions).
• Developing and supporting the CI/CD pipeline for automation lifecycle (review, release, promotion).
• Conducting the Data Reliability Framework for RPA.
• Generating monthly and weekly RPA automation reports and quarterly scorecards.
• Contributing to RPA strategy and planning sessions.
• Managing vendor platform utilization and license tracking.
• Facilitating the customer through the Authority to Deploy (ATD) process.
• Facilitating customer interaction with system integrators.
• Ensuring required documentation is delivered (PDD, SDD, Runbook, Test Plan).
• Assessing issues and developing solutions for productivity, quality, and client satisfaction.

Qualifications include:

• Bachelor's degree in relevant fields (15+ years experience; Master's degree may substitute 2 years)
• Experience with robotic process automation, UI Path, Agile teams, architecture concepts, Jira, Salesforce, SharePoint, and Confluence.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, risk mitigation, and escalation capabilities.
• Experience working on remote Agile teams.
• Suitability/Public Trust clearance.
• Experience within the VA Office of Information Technology, Kubernetes, and migrating from on-premise to SaaS is a plus.
