Full-Time Senior Digital Buildings System Engineer

• Building System Integration: Assess existing building systems. Map building systems architecture for cloud migration.
• Cloud Onboarding & Configuration: Configure cloud infrastructure. Implement data flow protocols from on-premises to cloud.
• Device Qualification and Testing: Test application drivers across IoT devices. Collaborate with manufacturers to resolve integration issues. Manage devices in an IoT testing lab.
• Data Management & Security: Ensure compliance with cybersecurity and data privacy policies. Implement encryption and access control measures.
• Data Analytics and Reporting: Analyze system data to generate insights. Prepare detailed reports for stakeholders.
• Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with IT, facility management, and operations teams. Provide technical support and training.
• Testing & Troubleshooting: Validate data integrity and system performance. Resolve issues related to data transmission and system compatibility.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain documentation of onboarding processes and system configurations. Generate reports on system performance.

• Ensure smooth integration, optimization, and security of applications on cloud platforms.
• Troubleshoot issues, manage performance, and align cloud solutions with business objectives.
• Deliver technical engineering services and projects for clients.
• Manage own workload, communicating issues to line manager.

• 7+ years of experience in building automation systems, cloud integration, or IT infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience in systems integration.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices.
• Knowledge of edge computing and data preprocessing methods.
• Technical expertise in digital and smart building projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Controls Engineering or related field.
• Experience with BMS systems such as Niagara, Delmatic, Delta, or LoRaWAN is beneficial.
• Cloud platform expertise in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.
