Job Details
Lead and manage 3 or 4 teams of multi-disciplinary engineers working with Java, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, modern front-end technologies (React), and PHP.
Drive innovation and continuous improvement in application system design, architecture, and development processes, leveraging the latest technologies and tools to enhance product functionality and customer experience.
Ensure adherence to engineering standards and best practices.
Collaborate closely with product managers and other stakeholders to define product requirements, develop project plans, and ensure timely delivery of new features and enhancements.
Work across the InPost Technology Group to improve overall architecture, support global technology initiatives (cloud transformation, platforming, leveraging AI).
Manage the full lifecycle of team members, including hiring, onboarding, and development, to foster a diverse and inclusive workplace. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Review technical approaches, facilitate technical thought leadership, and build/improve products.
Provide hands-on support where needed, addressing technical and interpersonal challenges.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of software development experience with strong familiarity in Java, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, React, and basic PHP knowledge.
- 2+ years of experience leading and managing high-performing Agile development teams.
- Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and collaborative skills.
- Proven experience in leading and managing Agile development teams, with a deep understanding of Agile principles and methodologies.
- Professional level of English (B2 min.)
- Experience with people management (recruitment, development, feedback, conflict resolution).
- Experience with goal setting and delivery for self and teams.
- Strong understanding of software design for performant and large-scale systems.
- Collaborative, organized, and problem-solving mindset.
- Knowledge of GCP or other cloud platforms.
