Job Details
Lead and manage 3-4 teams of multi-disciplinary engineers working with Java, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, React, and PHP.
Drive innovation and continuous improvement in application system design, architecture, and development processes. Leverage latest technologies and tools to enhance product functionality and customer experience.
Ensure adherence to engineering standards and best practices.
Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define product requirements, develop project plans, and guarantee timely delivery of new features and enhancements.
Improve overall architecture, support global technology initiatives (cloud transformation, platforming, AI).
Manage team members' hiring, onboarding, and development, ensuring a diverse and inclusive workplace.
Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Review technical approaches, facilitate technical thought leadership with support from the architecture team.
Build new products, enhance existing ones, and contribute to development best practices.
Provide hands-on support, including escalation management, team support for release dates, incident resolution, and addressing technical and interpersonal challenges.
Requirements:
8+ years experience in software development with strong familiarity in Java, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, React, and basic PHP knowledge.
5+ years experience leading and managing high-performing Agile development teams. Deep understanding of Agile principles and methodologies.
Strong leadership and communication skills, proven ability to manage and mentor engineers.
Proven experience in leading and managing Agile development teams with deep understanding of Agile principles and methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving skills and collaborative work style.
Professional English level (B2 minimum).
Well-versed in people management tasks (recruitment, personnel development, feedback, conflict resolution).
Experience setting and delivering goals (KPIs, prioritization).
Experience working in a fast-paced environment, dealing with ambiguity and change.
Technical background and experience with software design of performant and large-scale systems.
Collaborative attitude, superb organizational skills, problem-solving mindset, and strategic decision-making skills.
