Full-Time Senior Engineering Manager, Mobile Experience

We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineering Manager with a background in native mobile development to lead a team of 8-10 mobile engineers.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of software engineers, fostering collaboration and supporting professional growth.
• Drive the team's roadmap, prioritizing features in alignment with stakeholders.
• Build a diverse and talented team.
• Define team scope, goals, and key metrics.
• Guide architectural and implementation decisions.
• Establish effective processes and norms for a healthy, self-organized team.
• Account for team performance and deliver results.
• Build partnerships across the organization.
• Utilize data analysis to frame opportunities for leadership and cross-functional partners.
• Manage app release rotations and prioritize bug fixes.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years cultivating and managing high-performing engineering teams.
• 7+ years building and scaling real-time solutions.
• 3+ years native mobile application development experience.
• Experience hiring, promoting, and reviewing software engineers.
• Experience leading product engineering teams.
• Experience with observability and data analysis tools (e.g., Datadog, Looker).
• Familiarity with iOS and Google Play release processes.
• Understanding of modern iOS development tech stacks and best practices.
• Excellent analytical skills and communication skills.
