Position Overview: Our Platform Team innovates how underwriting, loan processing, and credit risk assessment are performed. You will coach, manage, and develop the Platform team to build key infrastructure for the product roadmap. You'll drive technical health, define and improve cloud-based microservices and APIs. You'll also act as a thought partner, translating strategy into execution, using distributed tracing, logging, and metrics.
Responsibilities:
- Coach and manage the Platform team.
- Drive technical health of platform components.
- Own architecture strategy and roadmap.
- Operate teams at the forefront of best practices.
- Partner with leadership, engineering, and product.
- Deliver highly observable services using distributed tracing.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years leading Platform-focused engineering teams.
- Strong team-building skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong technical experience with Python microservices.
- Expertise in cloud-based microservices, APIs, and SDKs.
