Job Details
AECOM is seeking a Project Manager to oversee environmental investigation and remediation projects. The candidate may work remotely within the New England area or from the Chelmsford, MA, Manchester, NH, or Providence, RI AECOM offices.
Responsibilities:
Minimum Requirements:
BA/BS in Geology, Engineering, or related field with 6+ years of relevant experience.
U.S. Citizenship is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Responsibilities:
- Manages and directs staff to complete environmental projects.
- Experience with CERCLA projects and federal facilities.
- Managing RI/FS, Remedial Design, Five Year Reviews.
- Client interaction on technical/cost/schedule topics.
- Project invoicing and cash flow management.
- Analyzes financial statements and completes budget tracking.
- Oversees the preparation of work plans and organizes project studies.
- Supervises junior and mid-level staff.
- Occasional overnight travel required
Minimum Requirements:
BA/BS in Geology, Engineering, or related field with 6+ years of relevant experience.
U.S. Citizenship is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a project manager.
- Experience as a client facing professional.
- Professional License (PE, PG) in New England states
- 10+ years’ experience in environmental remediation project management
- Master’s degree in Geology, Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering, or related degree
- Experience with regulator and stakeholder negotiations
- Experience managing environmental projects for Federal clients
- Knowledge of RCRA and CERCLA processes
- Experience in team management and scheduling of staff
- Superior communication, writing, editing, and reporting skills
- Experience preparing proposals, cost estimates, schedules, and change orders
- Interest in business development
- Led teams in executing Site Investigations, Remedial Investigations, Feasibility Studies, Risk Assessment, and Treatability Studies
