Full-Time Senior FEMA Grant Specialist

Senior FEMA Grant Specialist will assist public and private sector clients in project development, application, monitoring, and closeout of FEMA funded programs.

Responsibilities:

1. Guide the implementation of FEMA funded disaster recovery projects, including oversight and resource distribution.
2. Support clients on technical aspects of FEMA programs (PA, HMA, BRIC).
3. Deliver advisory and consulting services through training, discussions, and deliverables.
4. Provide strategic guidance to maximize program efficiency.
5. Interpret FEMA statutes and regulations for project success.
6. Develop project plans with goals, deliverables, tasks, workflows, and resources.
7. Perform risk assessments, record maintenance, and compliance oversight.
8. Monitor project progress and report to senior management.
9. Assist in Scope of Work development.
10. Review and process reimbursement requests and eligibility determinations.
11. Coordinate with technical experts for support information.
12. Conduct Benefit Cost Analysis (BCA) as needed.
13. Monitor program execution for compliance.
14. Coordinate with the project team for schedule and budget maintenance.
15. Manage major projects with complex coordination.

Minimum Requirements:

• BA/BS and 4 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree.
• 4+ years Project Management experience with public/private clients on FEMA programs.
• Advanced knowledge of FEMA regulatory requirements.
• Flexibility to manage competing priorities.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Teamwork and time management skills.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
