We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to work directly with the CTO and COO to design, build, and scale software solutions. You'll play a key role in shaping engineering culture and transitioning into a technical lead role.
About Juniper: Juniper is a crowdfunding and merchandise platform for independent creators. We create the products, launch on creator-branded storefronts, and ship to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership across the entire stack (server, serverless, databases, CI/CD, metrics, front-end).
- Partner with CTO and COO to define technical strategy and roadmap.
- Lead projects through architectural decisions and technical design documents.
- Contribute to implementation, code reviews, deployment, and monitoring.
- Mentor fellow engineers and drive continuous improvement.
- Explore cutting-edge technologies (like generative AI).
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience with modern web technologies (TypeScript, React, Node.js, relational and NoSQL databases)
- Strong experience architecting production-scale systems and deploying cloud infrastructure
- Ownership mindset impacting customers and business
- Proven ability to navigate ambiguity and influence cross-functional stakeholders
- Experience as a technical lead, mentoring engineers, or project management is a plus
