Full-Time Senior Geospatial Product Manager

Element 84 is seeking a Product Manager to join Raytheon’s NASA EED-3 program.

Work in a fast-paced Agile environment ensuring accurate and timely design, development, and deployment of products and services for enhanced discoverability of NASA Earth science data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee roadmap and delivery of a Scaled Agile (SAFe) release train.
• Ensure adherence to operational agreements, policies, and program standards.
• Define and support building cloud-based products meeting customer needs.
• Collaborate with internal/external teams for customer needs analysis and consensus building.
• Support Agile Release Train (ART) in delivering value through Program Kanban and Continuous Delivery Pipeline.
• Manage and prioritize ART feature backlog, ensuring product completeness.
• Develop and communicate product vision and roadmap.
• Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor project progress.
• Develop detailed project plans and roadmaps, mapping dependencies.
• Incorporate quality measures and standards.
• Run formal planning sessions with stakeholders.
• Approve timesheets, manage project budget, and resource allocations.
• Work with customers for proposing new features.
• Draft proposals and budget new features.
• Inform Contracts team about contract renewal process.
• Understand market, user interactions, and future customer needs.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 10 years of experience in building enterprise-scale software applications.
• At least 4 years of people management experience in agile development environments.
• Experience with geospatial data and tools.
• Ability to align development efforts to end-user needs.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written). Experience creating RACI charts.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of metadata cataloging and search engine indexing.
• Familiarity with geospatial data tools and needs.
• Experience leading large, complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

Travel:

6 trips per year to client meetings, industry conferences, or company events.
