Full-Time Senior Golang Software Engineer

At QAD, we're seeking a passionate Senior Golang Software Engineer to join our team, developing and maintaining the QAD Champion API Backend (Golang).

This role will involve:

• Developing and enhancing AI workflows for QAD applications.
• Completing sprint deliverables to meet business goals.
• Leveraging AI technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
• Providing expert support during incidents to resolve customer issues.
• Participating in forums to improve the system.
• Collaborating with the team to achieve business objectives.
• Writing testable and maintainable code.

Required Qualifications include:

• 5+ years of professional experience.
• Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Strong Golang knowledge.
• Versioned API contract maintenance experience.
• API-first design using OpenAPI Spec (OAS).
• Relational table design with PostgreSQL.
• Transactional database access with sqlc and pgx.
• Database migration patterns (e.g., expand and contract).
• Writing observable and testable code using libraries like testify and mockgen.
• Publishing and consuming Avro formatted Kafka messages.
• CI/CD experience with GitHub Actions.
• Trunk-based development and continuous delivery.

• AWS Bedrock knowledge.
• AWS Sagemaker.
• Generative AI prompt engineering.
