CD PROJEKT RED is seeking a highly experienced and problem-solving Senior IA Project Manager to join our Vancouver team and help lead the development and delivery of IA-driven solutions that will shape the next generation of immersive gaming experiences and tools. In this role, you will manage cross-functional projects that enhance the user experience, game development pipelines, and creative capabilities of our teams.
Daily Responsibilities
- Plan and manage schedules, milestones, and resource allocation for our projects to align with studio-wide priorities.
- Secure and coordinate key resources, including IA engineers, subject matter experts, quality assurance, and infrastructure support.
- Foster communication and collaboration across interdisciplinary teams to ensure alignment and deliver high-quality IA solutions.
- Monitor project progress, proactively identify risks, and adapt plans to evolving technical and production needs.
- Serve as a primary liaison between development teams, management, and external partners, keeping all parties informed and gathering feedback.
- Maintain a balance between R&D and production/delivery of IA solutions to game development teams.
- Manage project budgets.
- Collaborate closely with quality assurance teams and external technology vendors to ensure IA systems are performant, stable, and user-friendly.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends in IA and game development, assess their relevance, and make informed decisions on implementation.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IA or technical project management within the game industry or a comparable technical field.
- Strong understanding of IA technologies, their implementation in video games, and related workflows.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills, and strong leadership qualities.
- Ability to bridge the gap between technical knowledge and creative vision, acting as a translator between engineering and non-technical teams.
- Knowledge of agile methodologies and project tracking tools.
- A growth mindset with the ability to adapt to rapidly evolving environments.
