CD PROJEKT RED is seeking an experienced and problem-solving Senior IA Project Manager to join their Vancouver team. This role will be responsible for leading the development and delivery of IA solutions that will shape the next generation of gaming experiences and immersive tools.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Plan and manage project timelines, milestones, and resource allocation to align with studio-wide priorities.
- Secure and coordinate key resources, including IA engineers, QA, and infrastructure support.
- Foster communication and collaboration across interdisciplinary teams to ensure alignment and superior IA solutions.
- Monitor project progress, proactively identify risks, and adapt plans to evolving technical and production needs.
- Act as a primary liaison between development teams, leadership, and external partners, keeping all parties informed and gathering feedback.
- Balance R&D and production/delivery of IA solutions to development teams.
- Manage project budgets.
- Collaborate closely with QA teams and external technology providers to ensure IA systems meet performance, stability, and usability standards.
- Stay current on emerging AI and game development trends, evaluate their relevance, and make informed implementation decisions.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IA or technical project management within the game industry or a related technical field.
- Strong understanding of AI technologies, their implementation in games, and related workflows.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, and strong leadership qualities.
- Ability to bridge technical knowledge and creative vision, translating between engineering and non-technical teams.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and project tracking tools.
- A proactive and adaptable mindset.
