About Ondo Finance: Ondo Finance is a blockchain-enabled investment firm providing institutional-grade products and services. They tokenize exposure to assets like US Treasuries and operate in decentralized finance (DeFi).
About the Role: Ondo is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, and maintain a new blockchain infrastructure layer. This 0-to-1 project requires a strong focus on scalability and security.
Responsibilities:
- Implement improvements to optimize system scalability, performance, and fault tolerance
- Design and manage internal pipelines for build/test/deploy of key Ondo infrastructure
- Handle incident response, investigate root causes, and resolve issues related to Ondo infrastructure
- Create a monitoring/alerting/on-call system for optimal availability and performance
- Drive strategic technical decisions for the infrastructure roadmap
- Collaborate with protocol and smart contract engineers
Requirements:
- 3+ years experience in Infrastructure or DevOps Engineering
- Based in a U.S. time zone
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments
- Cloud computing platform expertise (e.g., GCP, AWS)
- Infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
- Observability best practices and monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, DataDog, Grafana)
- Experience in deploying, operating, and optimizing high-performance blockchain infrastructure
- Experience with at least one EVM or Cosmos SDK blockchain ecosystem
- Linux, cloud networking, and containerization (Docker)
- Excellent communication skills (technical and non-technical)
