Full-Time Senior IT Project Manager

What Will You Do?

• Manage assigned projects (software/products and/or infrastructure).
• Produce relevant project deliverables and artifacts.
• Identify project risks and issues, escalating promptly.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and satisfaction.
• Implement effective change control, ensuring communication.
• Track and update project resources and budgets.
• Develop and distribute timely status reports with key metrics.
• Follow organizational processes, governance, and best practices.
• Own and engage in all stages of the agile development process (planning, stand-up, show-and-tell, retrospective).
• Work closely with product owners to prioritize the backlog.
• Manage, coach, and motivate the project team.
• Communicate openly, honestly, and respectfully; resolve conflicts and provide direction.

What Do You Need?

• Minimum 8 years of relevant IT Advisory project experience.
• Deep understanding of at least two industries (banking, telecom, energy, insurance, etc.).
• Deep understanding of digital transformation, IT delivery, and complex project methodologies.
• Capability to intervene in larger projects, including correcting subject matter experts.
• Strong people management skills with a proven track record.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Strong English and Hungarian language skills.
• Capability to create concepts and methods for unpredictable situations (advantage, not required).

What is Good to Have?

• Proven track record managing IT engagements in key areas (system implementation, IT organizational/operating models, technical projects).
• Experience with C-level executives.
• IT advisory/business consulting experience (Big4 or top-tier).
• CxO-level support background.
• Consulting sales process experience.
• Public sector experience (advantage).
• Knowledge of data management methodologies and tools.
• Understanding of data analysis methods, technologies, and their application (Big Data, Machine Learning).
