About the Senior JavaScript Engineer role

As a Senior Engineer at Nearform, your main task will be designing & building applications. Responsibilities may include: supporting component design, development and maintenance; taking responsibility for personal technical quality standards; assisting with defining structured practices; designing and implementing data storage solutions; optimising application performance; gathering user feedback and building solutions; assisting with the analysis of client requirements; working with Technical Leaders in project execution.

What we are looking for

• Significant experience delivering at a Senior Engineer level
• Practical experience of delivering in an agile environment
• Deep knowledge of the Java language
• Experience of JavaScript frameworks (Node.js and React)
• Deep understanding of versioning control tools (e.g., Git)
• Testing experience and familiarity with testing tools
• Practical experience working with databases and cloud environments
• Experience with automation, CI, and CD
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Professional proficiency in English
