Full-Time Senior / Lead Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead Software Engineer (10+ Years of Experience):
• Lead the architecture, design, and development of complex, cloud-based software solutions.
• Mentor and guide a team of engineers, promoting best practices in software development and DevOps.
• Oversee system design, ensuring scalability, performance, and security across all solutions.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, integrating automated testing to ensure high-quality releases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address technical challenges and deliver robust products.

Senior Software Engineer (7+ Years of Experience):

• Design and develop software solutions with a focus on AWS cloud services.
• Participate in system architecture discussions and contribute to the design of scalable, secure systems.
• Write and review code in Java or Python, ensuring adherence to best practices in object-oriented development.
• Implement test automation strategies, including unit testing and performance optimization.
• Work closely with DevOps to streamline CI/CD processes and improve software delivery.

Education and Experience Requirements
Lead Software Engineer:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience, or equivalent training and/or work experience.
• Extensive system design experience.
• Strong object-oriented development skills.
• Advanced experience with cloud technologies, particularly AWS.
• Expertise in data storage technologies and performance tuning.
• Solid experience in DevOps practices and CI/CD pipeline management.
• Proficiency in test automation, unit testing, and software security

Senior Software Engineer:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• At least 7 years of relevant experience, or equivalent training and/or work experience.
• Strong system design experience.
• Proficiency in object-oriented development.
• Significant experience with cloud technologies, particularly AWS.
• Knowledge of data storage technologies and performance optimization.
• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD tools.
• Skills in test automation, unit testing, and software security.
• Previous experience in the financial sector or with financial systems is highly desirable.
• Must be authorized to work in the USA and eligible to work on a W2 basis (no 1099 or C2C options available).
