Your Role: As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer on the Intelligence team, build and productionize ML models for products like Search, Recommendations, and Content generation. Leverage Apollo's data to understand user behaviors and optimize experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, evaluate, deploy and iterate on scalable Machine Learning systems.
- Understand and improve the Machine Learning stack.
- Build systems to personalize user experiences.
- Evaluate ML system performance against business objectives.
- Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines.
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and self-healing features.
- Write unit/integration tests and contribute to the engineering wiki.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Math, Statistics, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years experience building Machine Learning/AI systems.
- Experience deploying and managing ML models in the cloud.
- Experience with fine-tuning LLMs and prompt engineering.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven software engineering skills in a production environment, primarily using Python.
- Experience with Machine Learning tools and libraries (Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications (additional, but not required):
- PhD in Computer Science with a focus on machine learning.
- Experience with Databricks, Google Cloud, Snowflake, mlflow, and Airflow.
- Experience with NLP, deep learning, recommendation systems, or other relevant areas.
