Full-Time Senior Machine Learning Scientist

You will join a global team of scientists and engineers committed to delivering cutting-edge ML systems. You'll work closely with product and engineering teams to integrate ML into our learning, teaching and integrity products.

Responsibilities include:

• Working with subject matter experts to determine questions and generate datasets.
• Curating, generating, and annotating data.
• Answering questions and creating trainable datasets from raw data.
• Developing and tuning Machine Learning models.
• Utilizing and fine-tuning Language Models.
• Staying current in the field and sharing research findings.
• Optimizing models for production use.
• Communicating insights and model limitations to peers.
• Writing clean, efficient code with automated tests.
• Staying up-to-date with technology.

Qualifications include:

• Experience building Deep Learning and ML models with text data.
• Strong understanding of ML and deep learning theory.
• 8+ years software engineering experience (Python, SQL, Unix, Git, GitHub).
• Machine Learning development skills, using experiment tracking tools (e.g., AWS SageMaker, Hugging Face).
• Understanding of Language Models.
• Master's or PhD in Computer Science, AI, ML, or related field, with industry experience.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Fluent English.
