Position Overview: Senior Manager of Corporate Development will play a pivotal role in assisting in Cologix's strategic growth initiatives. This role will help lead the identification, evaluation, and execution of strategic investments including acquisitions, partnerships, and organic investments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pivotal role in the execution of our corporate development strategy to support the company's growth objectives.
- Evaluate potential M&A targets, strategic investments, and partnership opportunities.
- Manage the end-to-end deal process, including due diligence, valuation, structuring, and integration.
- Develop and maintain relationships with investment banks and other key stakeholders.
- Work with our market analyst to identify trends, opportunities, and potential threats.
- Perform detailed financial modeling, valuation analysis, and scenario planning for potential transactions.
- Prepare and present investment memos and board presentations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of corporate development initiatives.
- Help facilitate post-merger integration efforts to ensure the successful realization of deal synergies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in a senior role within a principal investor / operator company (Data center, real estate, etc.)
- Strong financial acumen and experience with financial modeling, valuation, and due diligence.
- Proven experience in the underwriting and valuation of development opportunities, land acquisitions, and underwriting transactions.
- Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Positive attitude, quick learner, and self-starter.
