Brightspeed is seeking a Senior Manager for our Engineering & Construction Program Management team to support PM teams responsible for Armor/ECD, project management, right of way, fiber build, and direct organization.
This role will be crucial to the Engineering and Construction team, managing complex, long-duration projects and PM tools. It requires strong business acumen, data analytics skills, the ability to define and implement groundbreaking ideas in a fast-paced environment, and a desire for industry-wide impact.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading support and advising the Senior Manager of Engineering & Construction
- Leading cross-functional teams
- Overseeing development and monitoring tools, reports, and dashboards to enhance productivity and efficiency
- Tracking milestone activities for complex projects across multiple lines of business (internal and external)
- Creating, deploying, and maintaining requirements from various organizational swim lanes using Smartsheet, Excel, and other systems
- Cross-integrating systems to harvest data for analytics and real-time support
- Ensuring compliance with all regulatory obligations
- Ensuring projects meet network readiness dates within budget
- Creating presentations for leadership and C-Suite teams
- Providing direct support to the VP and their teams
- Collaborating with network and business domain leadership to design future state processes and achieve program goals
- Communicating training materials, documents, and job aids to stakeholders
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of telecommunication experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, Confluence, JIRA)
- Experience with Telcom Network Design systems (IQGeo, GIS, SmallWorld)
- Understanding of data visualization tools (PowerBI, Power Apps)
- Vendor & Contract Administration experience
- Ability to create complex Methods & Procedures
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office (specifically PowerPoint & Excel), Adobe, and related systems
- Data analysis skills to drive strategic business decisions
- Ability to build relationships with multiple departments
