The Senior Manager of Professional Services will play a critical role in building and leading our Professional Services team, focusing on ensuring the successful scoping, deployment, and management of complex customer projects.
The successful candidate is a strategic thinker, strong leader, can scale the team to meet the growing business needs, and have excellent customer relationship management skills.
What You'll Do
- Lead and mentor a high-performing billable Professional Services team focused on customer satisfaction and efficient project delivery.
- Be accountable for the services team financial goals, metrics and reporting.
- Foster a collaborative, customer-centric team culture, emphasizing consistency and excellence in project execution.
- Develop training and career growth opportunities for team members, supporting professional development.
- Own and manage the creation of customer-facing SOWs, ensuring accurate scoping for both standard and custom implementations.
- Standardize the SOW scoping process, establishing guidelines and templates to drive consistency and clarity.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Sales Engineers, and Onboarding teams to align SOW requirements and set achievable deliverables.
- Oversee the delivery of complex deployments, and execution of statements of work, including custom integrations and ERP migrations.
- Set and manage customer expectations, project timelines, and deliverables, aligning resources and tracking milestones.
- Work closely with Customer Success and Onboarding to proactively address project risks and challenges.
- Develop strategies that accelerate time-to-value for customers, maximizing their ROI with our platform.
- Identify and resolve project blockers to ensure swift, high-satisfaction deployments.
- Act as a project sponsor, providing oversight and governance, including tracking of key metrics like project health, budget and risk.
- Provide structured feedback and key data points to the Product team based on customer implementation experiences and project data.
- Act as a voice of the customer, highlighting areas for improvement and feature enhancement to continuously optimize the platform.
