Full-Time Senior Manager Software Engineering

Experience:

• 8 years in related engineering or development roles
• 6 years in leading technical teams in a complex and fast-paced environment
• Experience in cloud computing and data warehousing
• Experience working with data applications

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven technical experience in DataOps, DevOps, or related roles.
• Experience managing, developing and coaching a technical team.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or Google Cloud.
• Good to expert understanding of data warehousing solutions such as Snowflake, Redshift or BigQuery and Databricks and database systems, SQL and NoSQL.
• Proficiency with infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
• Experience with CI/CD tools and platforms (e.g., Github, GitLab, Jenkins, etc).
• Solid understanding of data engineering principles and experience with data pipeline tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, Luigi or other schedulers and orchestrator tools).
• Proficiency in scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, Bash, Go).
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
• Ability to take a system-wide approach to solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience in working in agile (SAFe preferred).
