Full-Time Senior Manager- Software Engineering

We are looking for a versatile, curious, and energetic Senior Software Engineering Manager to solve complex challenges globally.

You will be an integral part of a multi-functional development team inventing, designing, building, and testing software products for a global customer base.

You will build components of powerful payment technology, shaping the digital future of monetary transactions.

As part of the US Engineering Department at Visa Open Banking Solutions, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, maintaining & supporting Open Banking products for the US.

You will gain experience collaborating with various business parts to understand requirements for enhancements, identify areas of improvement and implement necessary changes.

Foster a high-performance culture within your team, emphasizing continuous learning and a can-do attitude. Focus on developing superior, high-quality products to ensure customer success.

Responsibilities:

• Work with high-load systems with high uptime requirements, including on-call shifts.
• Work with Tink’s technologies (Java, PHP, NodeJS, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, SQL, Datadog, etc.).
• Be responsible for overall delivery and quality from your team.
• Enable your team to reach targets by removing impediments, clarifying goals, and fostering ownership.
• Own the team’s planning, execution, and success of complex technical projects cross-product teams.
• Work closely with product management to ensure optimal product building and delivery.
• Setting clear priorities and providing leadership in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
• Work on discovery, investigation, and trying new solutions with your team.
• Mentor and motivate a high-performing team of senior technology engineers to achieve business goals and KPIs.
• Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Write elegant, robust code to rapidly produce proofs-of-concept or prototypes.
• Be data-driven and always seek ways to improve services.
