Full-Time Senior Microsoft D365 Developer

Senior D365 Developer is an integral part of the JS Held ERP Team. This highly skilled professional will primarily help solve business problems via X++ and SQL Server coding. Will work closely with Delivery, Enhance, and Support teams.

Responsibilities:

1. Apply system solutions to business problems through X++ in D365 F&O and power platform solutions.
2. Apply quarterly Microsoft updates by merging ISV code packages and releasing via Azure DevOps pipelines.
3. Stay informed on emerging technologies related to Dynamics D365 F&O programming languages and environments.
4. Utilize best practices and D365 functionality to create new features or address issues.
5. Apply functional and technical knowledge of Dynamics AX2012 & D365 to develop functionalities and integrations.
6. Implement hotfixes, kernel updates, and Microsoft updates.
7. Aid in creation of Technical Specifications Documents and document enhancements to D365 F&O.
8. Manage source control, configuration, and release management via Projects in AX2012.
9. Develop and customize solutions within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O platform using X++ and related technologies.
10. Collaborate with functional consultants to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
11. Create and maintain technical documentation for developed solutions.
12. Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.
13. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
14. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams for successful project delivery.
15. Support and enhance existing D365 F&O applications.

Minimum Experience:

• 10+ years hands-on Dynamics AX/365 Finance & Operations development, including X++ and C# proficiency.
• 8+ years MorphX and Azure DevOps experience.
• 5+ years SSRS report development.
• Experience with delivery teams and 3rd-party consultants.

Desired Skills:

• Power Platform, Power Apps experience
• Software test automation (TDD), unit test frameworks
• Reporting and Business Intelligence tools (Power BI)
• Azure functions, Azure Logic Apps
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills
• Experience with data conversion/integration in D365 deployments
• Exposure to highly interfaced ERP environments
• MS Dynamics AX certifications (a plus)
• Ability to install/setup 3rd-party modules with D365
