Contractor Senior MS SharePoint Consultant

SharePoint Consultant and Developer Responsibilities:

• Participate in meetings to gather business requirements and suggest solutions.
• Support the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, testing, release, and support).
• Analyze business requirements and suggest best practices.
• Develop and maintain SharePoint design and technical specifications.
• Conduct unit, integration, and release testing.
• Implement SharePoint software applications and interfaces.
• Support End User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Participate in Production Operations and Release Management.
• Assist with upgrades and new releases, monitor performance.
• Code changes and code reviews.
• Develop enhancements and customizations.
• Help clients with solutions, write technical specifications.
• Ensure developed solutions meet quality assurance standards.
• Design and develop frameworks and code with wider impact.
• Create detailed technical plans.
• Answer technical questions and clarify obstacles.
• Provide transparent updates on challenges, failures, and successes.
• Write development progress reports.

Experience Required:

• 12+ years of MS SharePoint consultation and development in an enterprise environment.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• Experience with MS SQL, Active Directory (AD), SharePoint customization.
• Knowledge of performance improvement best practices.
• Experience in a similar role is advantageous.
• Willingness to build professional relationships with staff and clients.

Other Requirements:

• Bilingual (Korean/English) is preferred, not mandatory.
• Remote position (US Eastern Time preferred).

Compensation: $60 - $65/hr
