We invite a seasoned Performance Test Engineer with leadership experience to join and guide a dedicated performance testing team, contributing to a critical project for a leading payment processing provider that serves over 275,000 U.S. businesses.
In this role, you’ll design and implement a testing framework and workflow from scratch, ensuring the stability, scalability, and performance of a next-generation POS solution.

Is that you?
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in automation testing
- Proficiency in TypeScript
- Strong Docker skills
- Experience with Appium
- Background in mobile app automation testing (Android, iOS)
- Ability to track performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, troubleshoot, and suggest improvements
- Strong leadership skills with experience guiding dedicated QA teams
- Experience working with AWS services
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Upper-Intermediate English level
- Desirable: Experience in performance and load testing, with expertise in tools like Gatling and K6
- Experience with mobile app automation testing using React Native
Key responsibilities and your contribution
- Lead a team of test engineers in designing and executing performance tests for a critical project.
- Responsible for setting up testing processes from scratch and ensuring the product meets high standards of stability and scalability.
- Lead and guide the team in conducting performance testing on the product
- Define testing workloads and design the testing framework and process
- Create and execute complex test plans and scenarios to identify bottlenecks, performance issues, and scalability problems, recommending improvements
- Analyze performance metrics and report test results
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align testing with product goals and address issues discovered during testing
- Create and maintain performance testing documentation
- Mentor junior team members and provide technical leadership
- Ensure adherence to best practices in performance testing and automation
