Role Opportunities:

• Making decisions

Your Day-to-Day:

• Tech debt management (identifying problems, preparing solutions, guiding implementation)
• Introducing and implementing code quality standards
• Overall BE team guidance, mentoring, and support
• Active participation in grooming sessions
• Designing new features
• Defining product architecture and guiding implementation
• Improving product architecture
• Researching, prototyping, and implementing new technologies
• Presenting and defending architectural/technical decisions to PEs and managers

Skills & Experiences:

• Deep knowledge of PHP and Symfony
• PHPUnit or other automated testing
• Understanding of OOP and RESTful APIs
• Strong software architecture and patterns skills
• Message queue management system knowledge
• Microservices architecture experience
• Mentoring and supporting junior/mid-level developers
• Strong communication skills
• Motivation for complex solutions
• Basic understanding of Kubernetes

Nice to Haves:

• Leading a software development team experience or desire
• Scrum experience
• Go programming language experience
