Second Front Systems (2F) is seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Platform Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you'll spearhead our technical efforts to bring our DevSecOps platform (Game Warden) onto multi-cloud fabrics.
What You’ll Do:
- Architect, improve, implement, and operate our cloud native platform.
- Build, test, validate, and operate Game Warden in accordance with security and compliance standards.
- Work cross functionally on well defined topics and areas needing research and development.
- Work closely with government interlocutors to understand, provision, and secure cloud-based resources.
- Establish benchmarks, outline key activities, and prioritize efforts across multiple initiatives and programs.
- Develop and document new solutions, working independently, and contributing to a culture of diversity, innovation, and excellence.
Skills You’ll Bring to Our Team:
- Architect-level experience designing, implementing, and operating cloud-based infrastructure.
- Deep expertise and experience with containerization and Kubernetes (K8s).
- In-depth experience with cloud service providers such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC), specifically design, management, and updating IaC with tools such as Pulumi in Golang and crossplane.
- Ability to develop, optimize, and debug code and design, build, and implement microservices in Golang or rust.
- Ability to implement, modify, and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
- Expertise with DevSecOps principles, components, and cloud computing providers and services.
- Familiarity with Gitlab, Google Workspaces, Slack.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of relevant experience.
- Certified one of AWS/GCP/Azure Solutions Architect.
- Experience in systems administration, systems or software engineering, and/ or computer science.
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain a Top Secret-level security clearance.
