Full-Time Senior Platform/DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Platform/DevOps Engineer in Latin America to enhance and maintain existing platform operations. You will play a crucial role in supporting a medium-sized biotechnology and agricultural company.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Platform & DevOps Engineering: Leverage expertise with K8S, EKS, helm charts, Python, and YAML-based configuration.
2. Infrastructure as Code: Design, develop, and maintain infrastructure using Terraform and AWS resources.
3. CI/CD Uplift: Streamline and enhance CI/CD deployments, including advanced techniques like blue/green deployments.
4. SRE & Observability: Implement observability tools and practices to ensure maximum uptime and performance.
5. Security: Implement security best practices and mitigate risks.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• 5+ years of Engineering experience
• 4+ years of platform/dev-ops experience
• Strong communication skills in English (B2/upper intermediate) and Spanish
• Strong proficiency with K8S, EKS, helm charts, Python, and YAML.
• Extensive Terraform and AWS resource experience (VPC, EFS, KMS, S3)
• Proven experience enhancing CI/CD deployments using CircleCI
• Experience with advanced deployment strategies (blue/green)
• Knowledge of SRE observability tools (Sysdig, Datadog)
• Continuous learning and curiosity regarding the latest trends in platform/devops technologies.
• (Preferred) Experience programming in Java, Kotlin, Scala, or Python.
• (Preferred) Experience in Life Sciences, pharma/biotech, or related scientific fields.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
