Full-Time Senior Principal Data Scientist

OverviewExperian's Innovation Lab is an R&D unit focused on developing new solutions and enhancing client relationships. As a Senior Principal Data Scientist, you will help shape the Lab's R&D roadmap, lead analytical solutions, prototype products, and evaluate data assets. Strong experience in predictive modeling, machine learning, and deep learning is essential, along with experience coaching junior Data Scientists and Data Engineers.

Responsibilities

• Understand market trends and client needs to lead the Lab's 3-5 year R&D roadmap.
• Follow new AI/ML technologies to address client challenges.
• Lead impactful analytical solution development, focusing on Identity management, fraud detection, risk management, and marketing optimization (ROI focused).
• Solve complex challenges through impactful algorithm development.
• Develop advanced machine learning solutions for structured and unstructured data.
• Lead data management, processing, knowledge discovery, and modeling improvements.
• Coach junior team members.
• Enhance data value through machine learning/deep learning techniques.
• Improve data manipulation and retrieval through efficient data structures/storage solutions.
• Innovate with data processing tools.
• Analyze vast datasets to highlight patterns and insights.
• Validate model performance and analyze ROI/benefits.
• Document model processes and outcomes.
