Job Details
As a Senior Product Designer at Tidepool, you will work collaboratively with engineers, product managers, healthcare professionals and patients. This role is a 6-month temporary position starting in November of 2025.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Product Thinking:
The ideal candidate: You have shipped many B2C products/features. You are skilled at interaction and visual design. You have a strong portfolio that demonstrates your practice of a design process solving problems for mobile and responsive web platforms.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Product Design: Lead design projects on Tidepool’s Data Management Platform across patient and clinician experiences.
- Translate need statements into designs, balancing usability with safety regulations.
- Partner with product, engineering and quality assurance engineers to drive design decisions.
- Build and manage a comprehensive design system and component library.
- Plan, design and lead user research, including interviews and usability testing.
- Develop understanding and empathy for people living with diabetes.
Product Thinking:
- Work with product managers to craft experiences that have impact on users.
- Define new feature concepts and influence product strategy.
- Manage prioritization challenges with your product team.
- Develop expertise in diabetes hardware and software technologies.
