About the role:
We are looking for a passionate product manager to help shape Equip’s patient acquisition and engagement strategy. As we grow our patient population and team, it is critical for us to ensure that our experience and processes can scale to meet the demands of the market and ultimately get as many patients who are in need of care through Equip’s doors. You will focus on optimizing conversion rates in our treatment funnel across various touch points including our website, communications, admissions process, and onboarding. Further, you will also be responsible for improving engagement of potential patients and their first few weeks at Equip to ensure their continued success in our program.
We are looking for someone who is consumer focused, data obsessed, and efficiency minded to step into this role. You will be working closely and collaboratively with design, engineering, operations, marketing, lifecycle, and data teams to drive sustainable growth throughout our patient journey. If you’re eager to work in a dynamic, fast moving environment where you’ll strive to make a big impact at a mission driven organization then this might be the right fit for you!
What you’ll do:
Develop and own our growth and engagement roadmap for the patient acquisition funnel that is outcomes driven and pursues our organization’s goals
Work closely with your design, engineering, data, and commercial/marketing counterparts to develop innovative ways to achieve conversion, acquisition, and engagement targets
Conduct user surveys, market research, A/B tests, and perform data analysis to form hypotheses & tests that will inform our vision and roadmap
Drive optimization at key conversion points throughout our funnel and identify opportunities for improvement, including both internal (patient acquisition teams) and external (inquirer) facing product solutions
Manage the execution of your roadmap by leading engineering, design, and stakeholders through the development process, ensuring tight timelines and successful product launches
Demonstrate empathy and curiosity as an approach to all complex issues (be them technical, societal, or personal) and share a genuine interest to solve problems for our users
Operate with a high degree of autonomy in a growing, early stage work environment
You’ll be great for this role if:
You have 4+ years of product management experience working at high growth companies, ideally working on growth, conversion optimization, and patient or user engagement initiatives
You have developed a deep understanding of user experience and user/customer journey enhancement
You’ve demonstrated an ability to explain a company’s value proposition in a compelling & brand aligned way throughout various product channels - website, communications, etc.
You align your work to company goals and business performance with a keen eye toward prioritizing high impact initiatives - and know how to make trade offs between short term & long term gains
You’re able to achieve results with limited resources and work independently with a bias toward action
You’ve proven that you can improve conversion rates in a funnel environment
You know how to partner closely with design and engineering teams to bring your vision to life
You’ve taken new large product features or product lines to the “market” (including to internal users) and demonstrated value
You have a strong quantitative background with experience in data analysis and A/B testing; can understand data and leverage it, without getting stuck in proving out every decision
You have analytics experience - proficient in use of excel/google sheets and ideally SQL
You love navigating through ambiguity in brand new territory on problems and turning them into solutions
You understand how to influence and drive alignment with cross-functional stakeholders with competing interests, and rally support for your ideas in complex organizations
You’re an excellent communicator in both written and verbal formats and have the ability to communicate opportunities to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
