A successful Sr. Product Manager leads and manages a core business feature or multiple product areas within a brand. They excel at driving valuable product delivery, have a vision for their product area, and a plan for execution. They clearly articulate how their product roadmaps align with brand strategy, and quantify the impact on customers.
A Sr. Product Manager owns their roadmap, understands the reasoning behind decisions, and consults their Brand Product Lead before key changes. They engage customers weekly to understand industry trends, pain points, and how their product solves problems.

- Provides regular input on overall product strategy and team alignment.
- Develops industry understanding including emerging trends, technologies, and markets.
- Engages customers to analyze needs, business practices, and future plans.

- Mentors and manages product colleagues, developing their skillsets.
- Identifies areas of improvement and new market opportunities.
- Engages internal stakeholders to execute releases and support public narratives.
- Delivers clear product requirements to guide development.
- Manages and grooms a product backlog for sprint readiness.
- Engages sales, marketing, and customer support for feedback and seamless delivery.
- Participates in Scrum process and ceremonies (standups, grooming, planning, retrospectives).
- Identifies key success metrics and ties them to business metrics.
- Focuses on customer value, delivering MVP solutions with minimal time, effort, and risk.
- Identifies and communicates opportunities and risks to management.
- Contributes to customer-facing demos and sales/marketing initiatives.
- Identifies and eliminates low-value work by the agile team.
- Engages design, research, and development to articulate customer pain points and problem-solving processes.
