Mirantis is seeking a product leader with a technical background who is passionate about enterprise customers, virtualization, platform engineering, and cloud infrastructure. You will be responsible for guiding and managing the delivery of Mirantis Kubevirt-based products, with a primary focus on Kubernetes and virtualization technologies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, customer success, and sales, to deliver high-quality solutions that enhance our customers' experience and drive business growth.
Responsibilities
- Vision & Strategy: Develop and execute a differentiated product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Mirantis, particularly focused on Kubernetes and virtualization, across well-defined customer segments.
- Roadmap Development: Develop, maintain, and drive a product roadmap that outlines the evolution of our Kubevirt-based solutions and initiatives, ensuring alignment with customer/community needs and business objectives.
- Customer Insights: Collaborate closely with our customers to gather and analyze feedback, monitor market trends, and assess the competitive landscape. Leverage these insights to make informed product decisions, ensuring our offerings align with and support our customers' evolving needs and goals.
- Backlog Management: Prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring that development efforts are focused on delivering the highest-value features and improvements.
- Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to ensure successful product development, launch, and adoption. Facilitate communication and alignment across teams.
- Kubernetes Expertise: Leverage deep knowledge of platform engineering to guide product development and ensure our solutions meet the needs of enterprise customers.
- Performance Monitoring: Define and track key performance metrics to evaluate product success and identify areas for improvement. Use data-driven insights to make informed product decisions.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, providing regular updates on product status, upcoming releases, and strategic direction.
- Proven track record of delivering technical products that serve engineering customers, particularly Kubernetes and virtualization.
- Experience with B2B enterprise SaaS.
- Demonstrated experience of developing and driving GTM strategy (direct, indirect, channel, PLG) in partnership with marketing, sales, and technical presales teams.
- Understanding of cloud-native technologies, vendors, and products, and how they deliver value to end-users.
- Strong foundation in virtualization, containerization, public clouds, networking, system, and distributed systems technologies.
- Experience working closely with engineering teams to deliver technical products, with a strong understanding of the technical feasibility and development processes.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders.
