Full-Time Senior Production Engineer

Senior Production Engineer will acquire deep knowledge of new business services and associated applications, underlying infrastructure, and support technologies in your area.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in building, configuring, integrating, and deploying various software in production, as well as their monitoring (Zabbix, Grafana, etc.).
• Evaluate production readiness of projects, particularly regarding application monitoring.
• Interact with internal functions (Monitoring, Operations, Development Support) to solve production issues or to rethink/refine processes, procedures, delivery mechanisms, and support models.
• Identify and develop tools, techniques, and procedures to improve alerting, monitoring, performance, availability, and reliability of applications.
• Ensure adherence to internal policies (change control, IT security standards, version management, incident management).
• Review application support documentation.
• Contribute to process development and best practices, seeking new ways to improve system resilience, performance levels, and maintainability.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an Engineering School or a University with a specialization in computer science.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.

Technical Skills:

• Excellent knowledge of Zabbix, Grafana, ELK Stack, PagerDuty, Prometheus, Kibana, StatusPage, etc.
• Development and scripting tools: .NET Core, C/C++, SQL, Unix Shell, Python.
• Applications: Apache, Tomcat, Jboss, Openssl.
• DBMS: MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle.
• Operating systems: Linux/Unix, Windows.
• Network and security principles (TLS, DNS, firewall, HTTP, etc.).
• Gitlab, Nexus, Jenkins, ServiceNow.
• Docker, Docker Swarm, Kubernetes (K8s), OpenShift.
• VM provisioning: Puppet, Ansible, Chef, Terraform.
• Cloud computing: AWS, GCP.

Functional and Behavioral Skills:

• Fluent English (mandatory), French proficiency is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Autonomous.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate with large-scale international teams.
• Willing to work on call.
