Brightspeed is seeking a Senior Program Manager, Engineering & Construction.
Responsibilities:
- Leading program management for engineering and construction build plans.
- Managing the full project lifecycle across vendors and stakeholders.
- Directing engineers in refining mechanized engineering designs.
- Managing project changes related to engineering and construction.
- Providing process support to internal network teams and service providers.
- Driving process improvements to optimize fiber build efficiency.
- Managing fiber deployment programs across multiple market segments.
- Monitoring material management and cost controls.
- Collaborating with partners to ensure build requirements align with market agreements.
- Promoting company culture and fostering collaboration.
What it takes to catch our eye:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience managing fiber construction builds.
- Experience leading telecommunications fiber build projects.
- Understanding of Outside Plant (OSP) design and construction practices.
- Proficiency in engineering and project management tools.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
- Demonstrated leadership skills.
- Process improvement mindset.
Bonus points for:
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, or related discipline.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
- Telecom, Cable, or Internet Service Provider (ISP) industry experience.
